Co-organised by The Vietnamese Embassy in Finland, Ton Duc Thang University and Wise Consulting Finland Oy, TEACH IN VIETNAM – WHERE L.I.FE EXPANDS event brought participants together for the launching of Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS) and the recruitment of Finnish teachers.
As one of the events to celebrate the 45 years of Diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Finland, Madam Pham Thi Ngoc Bich, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland and Mr. Ilkka-Pekka Simila, Director General, Department of External Economic Relations, Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs have delivered the keynote speeches.
Representative of Ton Duc Thang University/VFIS school project, Dr. Huyen Nguyen and Mr. Pasi Toiva, Managing Director of WCF Oy have shared the VFIS project and Finnish teacher recruitment information. According to the schedule, the VFIS grand opening will be in Autumn 2019 and it is said to be the convergence of Finnish education excellence with local adaptation aiming at improving the education level in Vietnam.
